Synopsis: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for a single fixed price, supply contract for the replacement of the Brake Assembly which is located on the downstream end of the upper boom wall at Wilson Main Lock. It is believed that small business would be capable and successful performing the work. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment, shop, supervision and quality control necessary for the replacement of the parts listed below, in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Contractor shall supply a project schedule and shop drawing for approval prior to beginning the work. All parts shall be produced with the highest level of workmanship. All materials shall be milled within the borders of the United States of America, using only domestic construction materials in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 25.2. Parts shall be protected from damage during handling and shipment. All parts shall be individually labeled with their specific mark numbers. Like items may be packaged together if doing so will not damage the parts. Contractor shall supply as-built drawing in CAD and PDF format prior to payment. Delivery shall be included in the contract price. Contractor shall provide all contract requirements with 270 calendar days of contract award.
