The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashvills District is seeking to rent scaffolding system stair towers for Pickwick Lock and Dam. The Contractor for this project is to furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform all work for renting, erecting and dismantling two (2) separate Scaffolding System Stair Towers and pick boards with hand rails and toe boards. The stair towers will be approximately 30 feet in height. Towers will be built in a dewatered upper miter gate miter seal at a navigation chamber or lock. Scaffolding will be anchored into concrete walls or floors with masonry anchors. All scaffolding systems shall be built and placed under the direction of the Technical Representative onsite. USACE will provide crane, crane operator and qualified rigging personnel to stage equipment. Place of performance is at Pickwick Lock & Dam, 850 Carolina Lane, Counce, TN 38326. An organized site visit is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2020, starting at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. Please note: Due to the social distancing guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for the COVID-19 situation, contractors will only be allowed to have no more than two (2) representatives from their company at the site visit. If there is interest from more than four (4) contractors for the site visot, a second site visit will be scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, April 10, 2020.
