Solicitation Number: W912P520Q0001 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: Title: Survey Equipment Purchase and Installation R2Sonic SIM Box (New Acquisition) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source BRAND NAME supply and delivery purchase order for a R2Sonic Multibeam System .This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price commercial supply contract to provide all materials, labor, supervision, installation, set-up and training necessary to supply and deliver the following items (BRAND NAME ONLY): (1) R2Sonic 2022 Multi-beam system, to include motion sensor, GPS units for heading, position and DGPS unit, mounting brackets aboard and Army Corps of Engineers survey vessel. Contractor shall also perform the installation, set up, patch testing and performance testing of the system. Upon completion of installation and set-up, contractor shall perform all necessary and required system set up, testing and training to USACE\LRN survey vessel crew. DELIVERABLES: This work will include, but is not limited to the following: SIM Box, 20XX, w_INS_GNSS Port 1 Cable, IMU, 15m 1 Cable, Deck Lead, 0.40dia, 15m 1 Engineering Installation 2 Place of Delivery: US Army Corps of Engineers NAVIGATION BRANCH ATTN: Owen Traughber 1180 Cinder Road Old Hickory, TN 37138 The delivery date is expected to be within 30 days after date of contract award. NAICS AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 334511 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Other Than Full And Open Competition Not Previously Addressed SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is around October 25, 2019. The performance work statement will be available at the time of solicitation release.
