REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis for the procurement described. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This survey is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information. Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price contract for the fabrication and delivery of a floating doc / courtesy float. The estimated magnitude of this project is less than $100,000. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and quality control for the supply of: A. Four (4) 20' sections of courtesy floats. 1) Courtesy floats shall be galvanized steel truss frame floating docks in 6'x20' sections 2) Floats will have 2x12" Pressure treated skirts on front and back sides 3) Floats will have 48"x72"x20" Encapsulated float tanks 4) Floats will have 2'x2' concrete decking panels 5) Floats will have 10"x36"x5" soft harbor bumpers on front side 6) Floats shall have internal roller pipe guides to accommodate 5" square tubing pipe on back side, one per section as shown on contract reference drawing. 7) Contractor shall be responsible for delivering the dock system fully assembled and floating at the site of installation. The contractor will be required to provide all plant, labor and materials to complete the project. *Please note that this description is subject to change. The anticipated NAICS code is 237990, other heavy and civil engineering construction with a size standard of $36.5 million.
