The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and additional materials necessary for the removal and replacement of approximately 1,200 lineal feet of 15kV 500 kcmil Compact Sector, Paper Insulated Lead Covered (PILC) low pressure nitrogen filled cable. The cable is located between Manhole 13 and the Magazine Street Substation in an underground duct bank. A replacement cable shall be installed in the existing duct back and shall be rated 15kV URD and be of 500 kcmil copper. Splice kits shall be provided to connect the existing cable to the newly installed cable. Cable termination and testing from the Magazine substation to the North Power Plant will be conducted.
