The effort of this project is to create a centralized FUSRAP Environmental Data Management System (FEDMS) for the FUSRAP National Program that utilizes, and builds upon, the Environmental Resources Program Information Management System (ERPIMS) database schema that has been implemented and managed by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), formerly the Air Force Center for Engineering and Environment (AFCEE). The ERPIMS schema has proven to be both effective and efficient in the management of environmental data since it was implemented by the U.S. Air Force in 1987. The ERPIMS format is compatible with DOE-LM’s EQuIS system and will facilitate more efficient transfer of records between USACE and DOE-LM. See attachment for additional details.
