The Point of Contact for this site visit is Mr. Gabriel Schmidbauer who can be contacted at (716) 879-4423. **************************************************************************** Work on the Black Rock Lock Motor Control includes but is not limited to supplying all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to rehabilitate portions of the Black Rock Lock (BRL). The BRL currently utilizes MCC's that are located in the six (6) control houses (East Upper, East Middle, East Lower, West Upper, West Middle, West Lower). The MCC’s have been in service since the 1970's. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price contract for the BRL project as a result of this solicitation. The contract will have a period of performance of 103 days on all work including base and all options if awarded. Please see Section 01 35 13 of the specifications and FAR Clause 52.211-10 for more information.In order to compete, offerors must be a Small Business as designated by FAR Clause 52.219-6. The applicable Wage Determination is NY20200050. The Wage Determination is attached in the solicitation. The cost of this project is estimated at $500,000 to $1,000,000. The Buy American Act is applicable to this acquisition. A Bid Guarantee shall be submitted w ith the bid to be considered responsive. The amount of the guarantee shall be 20 percent of the bid amount or $3,000,000 whichever is less, see FAR Clause 52.228-1. The work is located at the Black Rock Lock, on the Black Rock Canal, at the Buffalo District Headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
