Work on the Cleveland East Breakw ater includes but is not limited to supplying all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to rehabilitate portions of the Cleveland East Breakw ater West Extension. The project is the repair of a portion of the breakwater to include new sheet pile installed w ith an additional layer of concrete. The Government intends to aw ard one Firm Fixed Price contract f or the Cleveland East Breakw ater project as a result of this solicitation. The contract w ill have a period of performance of 364 days on all work including base and all options if aw arded. Please see Section 01 35 13 of the specifications and FAR Clause 52.211-10 for more information.In order to compete, offerors must be a Small Business as designated by FAR Clause 52.219-6. The applicable Wage Determination is IL20200018. The Wage Determination is attached in the solicitation. The cost of this project is estimated at $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The Buy American Act is applicable to this acquisition. A Bid Guarantee shall be submitted w ith the bid to be considered responsive. The amount of the guarantee shall be 20 percent of the bid amount or $3,000,000 whichever is less, see FAR Clause 52.228-1. Call in Information for both the Pre-bid and Bid Opening will be the same and is listed on page 10 of the attached Solicitation. Amendment 0001 is adding two additional clauses to Solicitation.
