SUBJECT: Pre-solicitation notice for Replacement of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Filters at Caserma Ederle and Villaggio della Pace, USAG Italy Vicenza. To whom it may concern, The United States Government, through the Regional Contracting Office, Italy (Vicenza Office), intends to procure a contract for the subject as follows. The intent of this letter is to advertise the upcoming requirement for as many potentially interested companies. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES NEEDED: This is a non-personal service requirement to provide the replacement of the existing GAC filters at Caserma Ederle water plant, Villaggio della Pace water plant and WATTR Building at Villaggio della Pace, Vicenza, Italy in order to maintain the full operation of the filters and avoid bacteria and pollutants in the potable water. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The performance of the service sites are located in Vicenza (Caserma Ederle and Villaggio della Pace - Housing area). METHOD OF CONTRACTI NG AND AWARD: The method of award will be clearly indicated in the Request for Quotation. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price DURATION OF CONTRACT: The contract term is from 01 July 2021 to 15 September 2021 HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Contractors that are interested in participating to this acquisition shall send an e-mail not later than 03 May 2021, 17:00 hrs. to the following addresses: patrizia.meloni2.ln@mail.mil SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Third Parties liabilities for Transportation Activity - Third Parties liabilities for Waste Collection of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. ALBO NAZIONALE GESTORI AMBIENTALI: The offeror shall be enrolled in the Albo Nazionale Gestori Ambientali for transportation of waste on behalf of third parties with category 4 and 5. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://eportal.nspa.nato.int/AC135Public/scage/CageList.aspx). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation.
