This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), Corpus Christi, TX 78419 will be posting a solicitation on or about 14 July 2023 to award a contract to provide a pit lining system for the containment pit in the chemical booth of the Advanced Corrosion Control Facility (ACCF). The ACCF chemical booth will be used for the application of trivalent chromium and nonchromated conversion coatings on airframe structures. This pit is constructed from concrete, approximately 7,000 square feet, which will be degraded if corrosive chemicals are allowed to come in contact over an extended period of time. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this pre-solicitation notice. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items, to fulfill the project requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238390. The small business size standard is $19.0 million. Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of the project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the solicitation as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit.
