The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal-Corpus Christi Army Depot,Contracting Office in Corpus Christi, Texas is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential small business concerns having an interest and capability to perform Engineer Bearing Training. The courses shall consist, at minimum, of lectures and hands-on demonstrations. Courses shall be no more than16 hours in length each. Sessions shall be conducted for up to five students. The contractor shall provide a maximum number of three (3) sessions per period of performance. The bearing training that shall be delivered will consist of the following courses: Bearing Operation for Engineers (BOE). IEST ISO 14644 Clean Room Fundamentals (ISO14644CRF). Course specific details shall include the following: Bearing Operation for Engineers training shall be categorized into three specific learning outcomes identified as: Engineering Support to Industrial Operations (ESIO), Bearing Refurbishment Operations (BRO), and Process Methodologies and Control (PMC). IEST ISO 14644 Clean Room Fundamentals training shall be categorized into six specific learning outcomes identified as: Dimensional Inspection (DI), Air Parameters Packaging Area (APPA), Clean Room Classification Class 8 (CRC8), Facilities Environmental Control (FEC), Contaminant Control (CC), and Preservation Control (PC). The courses shall relate to TM55-1500-322-24, NAVAIR 01-1A-503, TO 446-1-122, Aerospace Bearing Industry processes, procedures, industry standards, and techniques as applicable. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered.
