DRAWINGS: To request access to drawings, submit an email to the following: Jay Russell: harold.w.russell.civ@army.mil Dawyn Martinez: dawyn.m.martinez.civ@army.mil 1.0 GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to modify the T line in the Advanced Metal Finishing Facility (AMMF).The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 1.1 Scope: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items and non-personal services necessary to modify the T line as defined in this PWS, except for materials that will be provided by the Government, as stated in paragraph 3.2 Materials. The Contractor shall perform to the standards of this contract. 1.2 Background: The AMMF T line (also known as the anodizing line) applies an anodized coating to aluminum components utilizing a series of chemical baths and water rinses. The first four tanks in this line (T1, T2, T3, and T4) are to be modified to allow the use of different chemistry. This modification will include installation of various components to the existing tanks, modification of the tanks, and relocation and reprogramming of PLC controls for the line. 1.3 Description of Services: The Contractor will modify the T line for the AMMF facility as specified by section 5.0 Requirements of this PWS. 1.4 Period of Performance (POP): The POP shall be six (6) months.
