Contractor shall purchase and install helium leak detector that meets/exceeds the following: 1. Equipment shall have ability to inspect blades for helium leakage through any spar cracks, spar weights, inboard seal, pressure indicator, outboard seal, cuff, and/or cuff bolts. 2. Equipment shall be an ASM 142 S or approved equivalent Helium leak detector capable of detecting a leak as small as 1x10-7 atm-cc/s using the attached sniffer probe. 3. Equipment shall be capable of informing the operator the following maximum leak rates: If using a gas mixture of 10% Helium 90% Nitrogen, the maximum allowable leak rate is 3.9x10-7 atm-cc/s. If using a gas mixture of 100% Helium the maximum allowable leak rate is 3.9x10-6 atm-cc/s.
