The Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), Corpus Christi, Texas has a requirement to perform preventative maintenance, calibration, preparation and setup for the Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) relocation and on-site repair service, to include parts and materials. As authorized by the Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 (or 41 U.S.C. 1903 for Special Emergency Procurement) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5, negotiations are to be conducted solely with the following firm: Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology, LLC, 6250 Sycamore Lane N Minneapolis, MN. 55369-6310 (Cage Code 1DUR9) The solicitation will be issued on/about 11 March 2021 using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 13 procedures with an anticipated award date of 15 May 2021. Interested parties will find a copy of the solicitation attached to this notice. This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Government.
