Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Dematic Corp. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, under the authority of Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement is for one (1) year of Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Maintenance Support onsite at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and provide a capability statement for supplying the required items. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912NW-20-Q-0017 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and has a size standard of $8.0M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
