This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement, a market survey for information to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be used within the Missouri National Guard to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The intent of the Sources Sought Synopsis is to identify potential qualified U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Businesses, SBA certified HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The Sources Sought Synopsis is one facet in the overall market research conducted by the Government in regards to whether the proposed solicitation will be issued as a competitive set-aside. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this market research. The Missouri National Guard is seeking U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Businesses, SBA certified HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses sources with current and relevant experience, personnel, and capability to self-perform "Remodel Base Operations Facility" (Approx. 27,848 SF) located at 139th AW, Rosecrans Memorial Airport, St. Joseph, MO 64503. Brief description of work includes: Provide temporary facilities for all personnel working in the facility to work in during construction. Total demolition of nearly all interior walls and finishes, leaving only structural supports and exterior walls. Construct inaccordance with provided plans and specs. The term self-perform refers to performing relevant and major construction trade work in-house without exceeding the limitation on subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14). This does not include administrative or management functions. Relevant and major trade work is that which is the same or similar to the work that may be ordered under the proposed contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 -Commercial and Institution Building Construction. The small business size standard is $36.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
