This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The required item includes two maintenance ladders for the UH-72A (EC145 Commercial). A ladder needs to be able to extend 5ft up to 9ft from the side of the airframe, allowing a mechanic to have proper reach while working on the engine and rotor hub assembly, without making any contact with the airframe. The ladder needs to be able to fit inside of a UH-72 cargo area and allow for maintenance on an aviation ramp or in a field environment. Additional items to be included: 2 each - 2' work extension with safety handrails and tool/FOD tray set, 2 each - 4' work extension with safety handrails and tool/FOD tray set, 2 each - Short handrail Kit for use when there are no extensions present 2 each - Field Deployment Kits (tie down rings, heavy duty ball bearing wheels, protective bumpers and heavy duty closure latches) MX5+ Heliladder modular work stand is a similar item that can be used for comparison purposes.
