The unit currently operates four Music Performance Teams (MPTs) including a Rock Band (11-piece group with horn line, lights, fog machine), Country Band (5-piece group with lights), Pop Music Band (10-piece group with horn line, lights, fog machine), and Brass Group (9-piece group with drum set and light wash). All four (4) MPTs perform throughout the year in support of Soldiers and Families, educational and recruiting outreach, and civilian support functions. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to provide Live Music Training Services for the 147th Army Band Music Performance Teams (MPTs) as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The South Dakota Army National Guard Purchasing and Contracting (P&C) Office anticipates issuing a Request for Quote to award a single, firm-fixed price service contract for Army Band Entertainment Concepts. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to provide Live Music Training Services for the 147th Army Band Music Performance Teams (MPTs). The unit is looking to include music performance, communication with the audience , stage movements, musical transitions, and use of technology to enhance performance. The performance period will be from 7 June 2021 - 16 June 2021. Place of Performance will be located at: Harrisburg North Middle School, 2201 W 95th St. Sioux Falls, SD 57108. The solicitation and any subsequent award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures.
