The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, to perform the mandated Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) trainings at multiple locations through Puerto Rico, as defined in PWS enclosed. The Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG) will be conducting OSHA training as mandated by 29 CFR 1910. In part 1910.9 of this regulation is established the compliance duties owed to each employee. Standards in this part, 1910.9(b), requiring training on hazards and related matters, such as standards requiring that employees receive training or that the employer train employees, provide training to employees, or institute or implement a training program, impose a separate compliance duty with respect to each employee covered by this requirement. The employer must train each affected employee in the manner required by the standard, and each failure to train an employee may be considered a separate violation. Period of Performance (PoP): The Period of Performance shall be 1 Base Year of 12 months. Please refer to PWS enclosed for further details.
