A. This is a synopsis of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation for this notice will be published on https://sam.gov as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about April 23, 2024. B. The Virginia Army National Guard (VaARNG) is seeking catering services (catered meals) performed at Fort Barfoot, in Blackstone, VA. These services will be in support of Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear (CBRN) response training. The above-mentioned services will occur between May 20, 2024, and May 24, 2024. Caterers will not be able to use the dining facility or any other facility on the installation to prepare meals. The dining facility will only be used by the contractor to serve the meals on a serving line. Each meal will require serving an estimated 150 personnel breakfast and dinner, beginning with dinner on May 20th and ending with breakfast on May 24th. Specific servicing location will be provided at the time of award. C. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from the RFQ. Multiple awards will not be made. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for these services is 722320 (Caterers). The Product Service Code (PSC) is S203 (Housekeeping - Food). This requirement will be a 100% Set aside for Woman Owned Small Businesses. Only qualified offerors may submit quotes. D. Payment will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) application in accordance with DFARS clause 252.232-7006, Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions. E. To be considered for an award, vendors shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that the representations and certifications in their SAM registration are accurate and current. F. On behalf of the Government, the Contracting Officer intends to evaluate each quote and make an award without discussions. The Contracting Officer unilaterally reserves the right to determine if it is necessary to conduct discussions.
