The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted, see "Answer to Industry QUestions below amendment 0001. 2. The time and date for receipt of quotes remains unchanged. Answer(s) to Industry Questions Q1. Please confirm for these meals…do you want them delivered individual boxed? Q1(a) Will the soldiers have a place to eat them? A1. Per 1.2 of the PWS, the food will be prepared off-site and packaged for transport to soldiers and airmen. A1(a). Soldiers and Airmen will have an assigned DFAC to eat at and that shall be given upon award. Q2. Do you want a restaurant to serve the soldiers in their restaurant? A2. No soldiers will not be served in a restaurant. Soldiers and Airmen will eat on post at the assigned DFAC given upon award. Q3. Do you want the meals delivered in buffet pans for the soldiers to serve themselves? A3. The customer wants them individually boxed or the vendor to serve the Soldiers and Airmen out of buffet pans. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************** The Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Enhanced Response Force (CERF) will acquire food service in May 2023 in Virginia Beach to support training.
