Virginia Army National Guard Ice/Reefer Trailer Requirements for 229th MP Co., 116th IBCT, and 329th RSG Request for Quote (RFQ)#: W912LQ-20-Q-0029 General Information: This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation W912LQ-20-Q-0029 are being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06, effective 05 JUN 2020. This procurement is being issued unrestricted under NAICS code 312113; Ice Manufacturing and Product Service Code (PSC) 8960; Beverages, Nonalcoholic. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) requires ice and reefer trucks for multiple events during the period: 229th MP Co, FT. AP Hill VA: 6 July – 25 July, 2020 (see attached SOW for details) 116th IBCT FT. AP HILL VA: 9 July – 2 August, 2020 (see attached SOW for details) 116th IBCT FT. Pickett VA: 9 July – 2 August, 2020 (see attached SOW for details) 329th RSG FT. Pickett VA: 9 July – 25 August, 2020 (see attached SOW for details) Evaluation Criteria: The government intends to award to the lowest priced vendor who is a commercial source listed in the Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement, unless an exception applies (reference ArmyRegulation (AR) 40-657/NAVSUP 4355.4H/MCO P10110.31H Chapter 2, paragraph 2-4 and Tri-Service Code TB MED 530/NAVMED P-5010-1/AFMAN 48-147_IP). The Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement can be found on the following site: https://vets.health.mil/86257B8D004A4B6C/PHC. This solicitation requires an active registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the RFQ closing date and time. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. NOTE: Recent changes to SAM require entities to provide a notarized letter before a new registration will be activated; therefore, interested vendors should not delay registering in this mandatory system. The statement of work (SOW) embedded in amendment 0002, will be made a part of any resulting award.
