Frank Hartzell, Contracting Division, 192d Mission Support Group, 165 Sweeny Blvd, Langley AFB, VA 23665 Location of Potential Work: Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Synopsis: SOURCES SOUGHT, EXTERIOR LIGHTING LED CONVERSION The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential Small Business sources interested in this potential project. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested Small Business parties should respond. 192d Mission Support Group intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to Convert Exterior Lighting to LED on Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, Virginia, as described below. Pole Mounted Area Lighting - Induction/HPS to LED Conversion The work includes the removal of approximately 7 pole mounted induction fixtures/lights, the removal of approximately 7 pole mounted High Pressure Sodium (HPS) fixtures/light, and replacing the removed fixtures/lights with Light Emitting Diode (LED) replacements. Exterior Wall Mounted Lighting - HPS to LED Conversion The work includes the removal of approximately 67 wall mounted HPS fixtures/lights, and replacing the removed fixtures/lights with LED replacements. Exterior Can Lighting - HPS to LED Conversion The work includes the removal of approximately 17 can HPS fixtures/lights, and replacing the removed fixtures/lights with LED replacements. Exterior Wall Mounted Flood Lighting - LED to LED Upgrade The work includes the removal of approximately 2 LED flood lighting fixtures/lights, and replacing the removed fixtures/lights with LED replacements. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested Small Business concerns are requested to provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 24 April 2019. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: 1) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor; 2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form; 3) A listing of comparable projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and 4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
