Sources Sought Notice FACILITY EXHAUST SYSTEM UPGRADE Category: Z - Maintenance, Repair, and Alteration of Real Property NAICS: 238220 Date Published: 12 April 2019 Contact: SMSgt R. Frank Hartzell, Contracting Division, 192d Mission Support Group, 165 Sweeny Blvd, Langley AFB, VA 23665 Location of Potential Work: Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Synopsis: SOURCES SOUGHT, FACILITY EXHAUST SYSTEM UPGRADE The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential Small Business sources interested in this potential project. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested Small Business parties should respond. 192d Mission Support Group intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to Upgrade the Vehicle Maintenance Facility Exhaust System on Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, Virginia, as described below. The work includes the removal of the existing facility exhaust system and replace the removed system with an upgraded exhaust system. The upgraded system shall include the elements similar to the following: •- Exhaust Fan, 5HP, 3200 CFM @ 5"SP, 208-230/460/360, with belt guard, suspension platform with vibration isolation, inlet taper/flex, discharge square to round, and motor cover •- Winch Type Hose Storage Reel, including closed circuit winch, pulleys, cable, 10" x 25' HTC hose, and CTA stainless steel adapter with clamp and 45 degree elbow •- Steel Supports (as required) •- Magnetic Starter •- Applicable Electrical Breaker and Electrical Work The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested Small Business concerns are requested to provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 24 April 2019. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: 1) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor; 2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form; 3) A listing of comparable projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and 4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
