Frank Hartzell, Contracting Division, 192d Mission Support Group, 165 Sweeny Blvd, Langley AFB, VA 23665 Location of Potential Work: Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Synopsis: SOURCES SOUGHT, Memorial Pool Repair The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential Small Business sources interested in this potential project. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested Small Business parties should respond. 192d Mission Support Group intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to Repair the pool and pump system for a memorial on Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, Virginia, as described below. The work includes the removal of the existing surfaces in and around the pool basin, drains and pipes. Grout Repair: Exterior grout removal and re installation, Include the following: Grind/cut out all existing grout under exterior of existing coping stones. Installation of new grout in those areas. Resurface using Eco-Friendly Thermoplastic polymeric coating finish Coating must be chemical, stain, crack and scale resistant. Product must comply with NSF/ANSI 61 Standards Install new VGB Drain Covers Install new upgrade pool equipment complete with wireless autofill Install multi-colored LED lighting in upper and lower basins. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000 and $25,000. All interested Small Business concerns are requested to provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 30 May 2019. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: 1) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor; 2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form; 3) A listing of comparable projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and 4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
