The purpose of this change is to incorporate an Answers to Industry Question document dated 14 January 2021. As required within the document, lodging establishments shall have a minimum 3 star rating and be located within 5 miles from Fort Belvoir. Additionally, a completed/signed 52.204-24/-26 form must be submitted with quotes. End of Change 01*** This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and corresponding attachments constitute the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912LQ-21-Q-0008 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-02, effective 23 November 2020. This procurement is being issued as a Small Business Set-A-Side under NAICS 721110 (Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels) and PSC V231 (Transportation/Travel/Relocation- Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Lodging, Hotel/Motel) with a small business size standard of $35 million. The contractor shall provide the Virginia National Guard with hotel accommodations for approximately 15 soldiers for a period of 26 days, starting from January 17, 2021. The hotel shall perform all accommodations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). NOTE: Although contract item 0001 is based on 390 room nights, due to potential mission changes, the government may not require all 15 rooms for the duration of the period of performance. Therefore, the contractor hereby agrees to charge the government no more than the actual room nights used, at the original contracted room rate. Basis for Award: The government intends to award to the responsive, responsible vendor whose quote is the lowest Priced and meets the requirements as stated in the PWS for the items requested. In order to be considered for award, vendors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) included as an attachment to this announcement, or subsequent amendment, will be made a part of any resulting award.
