Virginia Army National Guard Ice/Reefer Trailer Requirements for 183rd RTI & 116th IBCT Request for Quote (RFQ)#: W912LQ-19-Q-0016 1. General Information: This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation W912LQ-19-Q-0016 are being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97, effective 06 Nov 2017. This procurement is being issued unrestricted under NAICS code 312113; Ice Manufacturing and Product Service Code (PSC) 8940; Special Dietary Foods and Food Specialty Preparations. The Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) requires ice and reefer trucks for multiple events during the period: 183rd RTI: 2 August - 28 August, 2019 (see SOW for delivery dates) 116th IBCT: 13 July - 3 August, 2019 (see SOW for delivery dates) 2. Evaluation Criteria: The government intends to award to the lowest priced offeror that meets the requirements as stated in the SOW and is an approved ice vendor in the Commonwealth of Virginia according to the Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement. This solicitation requires an active registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the RFQ closing date and time. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. NOTE: Recent changes to SAM require entities to provide a notarized letter before a new registration will be activated; therefore, interested vendors should not delay registering in this mandatory system. The statement of work (SOW) included as an attachment to this announcement, or subsequent amendment, will be made a part of any resulting award. 3. Communication with the Government: a. Questions: Please submit written questions in via email ONLY to the contracting specialist David A. Pickard at david.a.pickard.civ@mail.mil. Questions will be received up to 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time on May 8, 2019. Any questions after the designated closing time will NOT be considered or answered. b. Quote Submission: Quote submission response to both RFQ's shall be received no later than 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time on May 15, 2019. All quotes shall be submitted via email only to david.a.pickard.civ@mail.mil and dewey.r.faniel.civ@mail.mil. Any quote submissions after designated closing time and date will NOT be considered.
