The Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) intends to award a sole-source order to Wave Neurscience, Inc. for the lease/rental of their MeRT? platform for one year to conduct research and studies for the measurement and analysis of brainwave activity to identify disruptions in the brain neural network that may be caused by PTSD and/or other MTB injuries and build treatment parameters specifically tailored to help reshape brainwave activity, regardless of what may have caused the disruption to begin with. The MeRT? platform is a patent protected process that is currently undergoing rigorous research by Wave Neuroscience, Inc. The VTARNG is posting this sources sought notification to determine if there are other similar types of equipment available that would allow for a competitive solicitation posting and could be considered for any and all possible socio-economic small business set-asides. Any interested parties willing and able to submit statements of capability outlining equiipment capabilities and features will be considered and final award determination will be published in Contracting Opportunities. The NAICS code is 621420 and small business size standard for this procurement is $16,500,000.00. For now this will be a total small business set aside. Period of performance: September 2020 - September 2021 This notice is for planning purposes only and does not obligate the government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in a response.
