The Minnesota Army National Guard is seeking current and relevant experience, personnel with the capability to perform Statewide Catered Meals. Individual Event sizes range from 5 to 700 personnel with the typical size is ~80 people. Most events require a single meal – however some events require up to three meals per day for 3-4 days. Previous catered meal history is in attachment 3. Locations are spread-out throughout the State however the majority of the locations are within one (1) hour of a city of 40,000 or more people. Specific locations are identify as attachment 1. The intent is to break the State into separate Regions (attachment 2) with the opportunity to have pricing and or vendors based on a regional approach. Proposed contract could span multiple years. Types of meals could include: Boxed meals, meals ready to be served, dine in a local venues or fulfillment through a food truck or mobile kitchen. Meals could be delivered or require “Pickup” by Government personnel. Different pricing for different types of meals would be appropriate. The Minnesota National Guard is requesting the following information from vendors: What process would be utilized to request meals and communicate pickup/delivery locations and times to the Government (example: App, Web Interface, Email, etc.) What regions and services would be offered (Catering, meals for pickup, mobile kitchen, etc.)? What is the vendor proposed minimum and maximum quantities for meals within each region? What time requirements for individual orders, changes to the order (personnel or location) or cancellation of an order? Would specialty meals be available? Would pricing vary based on the number of meals ordered? Capability of providing meals to multiple locations and in multiple regions on the same day? What best practices / suggestions would the vendor provide to the Government to make a contract more efficient? How would Government personnel workout any issues at Pickup? This is not a request for offers or proposals but is a survey of the market for potential sources. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, IFB, or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The GPE is located at https://www.fbo.gov. Offerors will be required to be registered in SAM.gov (https://www.sam.gov/SAM/) . All interested sources should respond. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
