Synopsis: Notice of intent to award a Delivery Order with CAE Healthcare, Inc. in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 13.106-(1)(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The 133rd Minnesota Air National Guard (MNANG) has a requirement to renew maintenance agreements for CAESAR0215, CAESAR0216, and ISTAN1285MB medical manikins manufactured by CAE Healthcare. The Support and Maintenance Agreement includes repairs, freight, software updates, loaner manikins, customer support, and training in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The 133rd AW is under the impression that the described requirement is a Sole Source requirement.
