The California Army National Guard awarded a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency for the lease of two Airfield Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles to The Station Inc., Varnville, SC 29944. The requirement is to provide emergency response ARFF vehicles to support the Los Alamitos Joint Training Base Airfield Operations. There are only two sources available that can provide the required ARFF Vehicles in the timeframe required - The Station Inc. and Firetrucks Unlimited, 1175 Center Pint Drive, Henderson, NV. After contacting both companies the contract (W912LA-19-P-0032) was awarded on 21 June 2019 to The Station Inc. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice for possible future requirements are required to submit a capability statment that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to support the requirement. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point.
