The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential Request for Quote, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future/proposed submissions/solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. USPFO California is seeking information from sources that are capable of providing eight (8) Standalone Battery Backup for refrigerators and freezers Summary of Requirements: System Characteristics: Backup power must be able to run two separate refrigerators and two freezers at each MEDDET location. Electrical demands range from 4.5 – 11.5 Amp draw and up to 980 watts. Battery backup power must be able to start automatically and sustain electrical needs for up to eight hours. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Proposal (RFP), if any are issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The GPE is located at ttps://www.beta.sam.gov. Offerors will be required to be registered in SAM.gov (https://www.sam.gov/SAM/).
