The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that the Tennessee Army National Guard (TNARNG) intends to solicit a Fixed Price with economic price adjustment (FP w/ EPA) sole source IDIQ with Gordon Food Service Inc. (GFS) located at 1300 Gezon Pkwy SW, Wyoming, MI 49509-9300 for the purpose of acquiring Statewide Food Delivery services to all 136 TNARNG armories and Training sites for Inactive Duty Training (IDT) and Annual Training (AT). GFS is a unique source with unique capability of fulfilling the Government's needs for the following reasons: - GFS has online ordering system that allows user in the TNARNG to approve or reject requests from different units or armories within the organization prior to final order of groceries. - GFS provide and deliver grocery items per the 15 Day Menu for TNARNG Statewide with the capability to also break cases if needed. The ability to purchase individual items keeps the overall cost for the TNARNG down and reduces waste. - GFS also provide Emergency order request procedure and alternate ordering system in case of internet outage. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 311991 - Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 number of employees. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition is based upon zero responses to the previous solicitation notice and sources sought. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses is due by 05/18/2023 09:00 AM central standard time.
