Phasing Milestones: There are two phasing milestones the Contractor will incorporate into their construction plan. The first milestone is the breach of the existing wall connecting the new 1,800 SF addition to the existing building. The Contractor will not be allowed to make any new penetrations of the existing perimeter to the new addition until the entire 1,800 SF addition is structurally completed in order to minimize operational downtime. The second milestone is to substantially complete the construction of the 1,800 SF addition (Item 0001 in the solicitation) within 8 months after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). After substantially completing the 1,800 SF addition, the Contractor may then begin work on the repair scope (Item 0002 in the solicitation). The Contractor will be allowed to work on all other components of this project (Items 0003, 0004, 0005 in the solicitation) as needed during the entire contract period of performance.
