SOURCES SOUGHT INTRODUCTION The Delaware Army National Guard is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for catered meals in support of the Delaware Army National Guard. The intention is to procure this requirement on a competitive basis BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to: 1) provide services consistent, in scope and scale, with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated; 2) secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements; 3) implement a successful project management plan that includes: compliance with tight program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; hiring and retention of key personnel and risk mitigation; and 4) provide services under a performance based service acquisition contract. INFORMATION CONCERNING REQUIRMENT: Provide high quality (Delivered) catered meals in support of the Delaware Army National Guard Provide any combination of daily, hot breakfast, hot or cold lunch and/or hot dinner meals. The daily menu will be in accordance with the above references and industry standard, commercial restaurant menu guidelines Contractor shall be responsible for providing single service paper plates, eating utensils disposable hot and cold drinking cups, and paper napkins and associated single service condiments that complement the meal for all meals. Contractor shall accommodate personnel requiring special meals due to food allergies religious practices or vegetarian / Vegan requirements when identified with a 24 hour notice prior to the meal being prepared. Special meal or meals will continue thereafter Contractor shall prepare meals in a certified kitchen and shall possess an appropriate and applicable city, county and state licenses and permits to prepare and serve food.Estimated SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Personnel Background Check Required for Facility Clearance.
