The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, to perform all supervision and any items and services necessary to provide cleaned shop towels/rags and pick up used/dirty shop towels/rags This is a non-personnel services contract to provide Red rags, Blue rags, and White cotton towels, lint-free towels to the Army Aviation Support Facility #1, Army Aviation Support Facility #2 2-285th AHB, Peace Vanguard, WAATS Maintenance Battalion, FMS 1, FMS 3, FMS 4, FMS 4a, FMS 6, FMS 7 and FMS 8. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. Specific Tasks. Upon delivery of the shop towels/rags, the Customer will advise the Contractor on the number of shop towels/rags (as listed in Attachment 1) required to ensure their personal rag count is not in excess of the “not to exceed number”. Professionally cleaned shop/towel rags shall then be swapped out one-for-one professionally cleaned shop/towel rags will only be dropped off as needed in a quantity not to exceed the number identified per facility. Shop towels/rags for these shops will be provided by the Contractor and the facilities will place them in a location for pick up to be cleaned. Red Rags. Professionally cleaned regular shop/towels must be approximately 15 inches x 15 inches square, natural, shop towels made of low-lint, first quality one hundred percent cotton that shall be free of holes and torn, frayed or tattered edges. Blue Rags. Professionally cleaned regular shop/towels must be approximately 18 inches x 18 inches square, natural, shop towels made of low-lint, first quality one hundred percent cotton that shall be free of holes and torn, frayed or tattered edges. White towels. Lint-free towels must be new and a minimum of 12 inches x 12 inches square. These are required for aircraft windows and cannot scratch or leave marks. Wiping cloth shall be lint free, 100 percent cotton cloth conforming to, which are unbleached or white cleaning cloths conforming to AMS 3819, Class 2, Grade A, and have not been exposed to any other chemical solution, including laundry detergent.
