(1) Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, equipment, appliances, transportation, and materials necessary to provide and construct a turnkey awning system adjacent to Building 4162 located on Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (NASFWJRB). The awning system shall match existing awnings in the 136th Airlift Wing, to include all structural considerations for metal roofing and foundation system per Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) "Structural Considerations for Metal Roofing" (Ref. Para. 11.1). The structure shall be "J" shaped with an approximate size of 165 ft. by 100 ft. by 65 ft. and 24 ft. tall. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 238190 with a small business size standard of $15,000,000. (2) Location of the work: Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas, 76127. (3) Tentative dates: (a) Solicitation. The solicitation package will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website www.fbo.gov on or about 29 January 2019 and will include a quotation due date not less than 30 days thereafter. Potential quoters are responsible for monitoring the FBO website for the solicitation package. (b) Site visit. Potential quoters should note that a site visit will be conducted. The tentative date for the site visit is on or about 13 February 2019. The specific date, time, location, and procedure for gaining access to the installation will be included in the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FBO website for site visit information within the solicitation. (c) Period of performance. 59 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). (4) Plans, specifications and drawings will be posted to the FBO website with the solicitation package. (5) Quotation due date. The quotation due date will be at least 30 days after the solicitation is posted to the FBO website and is tentatively expected to be on or about 01 February 2019, with the exact date and time to be specified in the solicitation. (6) This project is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. (7) Solicitation documents. No charge shall be incurred for solicitation documents, as the solicitation and all related documents will be available electronically via the FBO website. (8) All responsible offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award. It is highly recommend that interested vendors register immediately in order to be eligible for contract award. The SAM website can be accessed at www.sam.gov. Please note that additional requirements will be included in the solicitation.
