Amendment 0001 - W912KZ25QA016 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date of Solicitation W912KZ25QA016, to inform all potential offerors that the brand-name-only justification is under review. The Government has received a challenge from a potential offeror regarding the brand name only specification. The challenge alleges that the solicitation is restricted to a single manufacturer without acknowledging other approved systems limits competition and may conflict with the principles of full and open competition under FAR Part 6. To ensure compliance with the principles of full and open competition, FAR part 6, the contracting office will conduct a thorough review of the justification and the protests claims. An amendment to the specification may follow this review. To provide adequate time for this review and any subsequent changes, the closing date for this solicitation must be extended. The closing date for Solicitation W912KZ25QA016 is hereby extended from 15 September 2025 at 0600 to 19 September 2025 at 1600. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. Panoramic X-Ray Machine NGKY intends to award a brand name, firm fixed price contract to a responsible offeror whose quote meets or exceeds our requirements under the authority of FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any quote that does not meet specifications will not be considered for award. We intend to evaluate offers and award the contract without discussions. The solicitation number is W912KZ25QA016 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-05.
