OSHA on Site Training Solicitation Number: W912K6-19-Q-0061 Notice type: Source Sought Response Date: August 6 , 2019 Set Aside: N/A Classification Code: U NAICS Code: 611430- Professional and Management Development Training Subject: This is a Request for Information (RI) Sources Sought for OSHA Training for the Maryland National Guard (MDANG) Purpose: The purpose of this is a market research tool to determine the market capability and solutions as well as the availability and adequacy of business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of award. Submission of a capability statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offering, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry practices. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-aside categories will be considered. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary. Synopsis: This RFI does not constitute and Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. It is requested that interested firms submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested items or alternative solutions. ALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND Background: In accordance with (IAW) The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act of 1970, Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulation, State of Maryland OSHA, AR 385-10, Department of Army (DA) PAM 385-10 and NGR Supplement to AR 385-10, all employees are required to know and understand the policies, standards, procedures, and their responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace. All employees to include supervisors and new employees are required to be trained. This training will provide employees and supervisors with the information they need to meet this requirement in their daily operations. Requirement: The MDARNG Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) seeks contracted services for OSHA training. The MDARNG seeks to obtain OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 hour General Industry training for up to 40 employees in each course. This training will provide the policies, procedures and standard for safety and health in the workplace.
