Catered Meals Prepared and Served out of Contractor Facility and/or Government Pick-up The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 722320 – Caterers and the PSC: S203 – Housekeeping Food This acquisition is solicited as full and open, unrestricted competition with no small business set-aside. Response deadlines: Quote is due on:Thursday, 4 May 2023 at 3:00pmEST. Purpose: Meals prepared and served out of contractor's facility and/or Government pickup. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform meal service (catered and/or boxed), as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Maine National Guard (MEARNG) personnel will be responsible for picking up meals with its own transportation at the Contractor location and providing its own food servers and flatware (paper plates, cups, napkins, and utensils, etc.) at the dining location. Government will be responsible for cleaning and returning any serving containers to the Contractor. Contractor will still provide condiments as necessary. The Contractor facility shall have enough space to serve 50 meals on-site if requested. The meals consist of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for 50 service members in the Presque Isle, Maine area. Period of Performance: 3 June 2023 thru 16 June 2023. Basis of award: Any award made will be based on the most advantageous (FAR 52.212-2 – Evaluation Commercial Items) to Government, price and technical acceptability considered. The award will be made based on the best value to the Government considering technical, past performance and price IAWS FAR 13.5. To be considered for an award, the quoter must receive no less than “acceptable” rating for Technic and past performance. Technical Capability: Quoter shall provide that they hold current American National Standard Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection and a Maine state food license issued by the Maine Department of Agriculture. All potential offerors are reminded that all firms must be registered in the System for Award Management database at www.sam.gov to be considered for award. Lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award
