The purpose of this project is to provide and replace high bay light fixtures at Maintenance Hangar 7 and Maintenance Hangar 9, as indicated in drawings and specifications in order to help meet curren... The purpose of this project is to provide and replace high bay light fixtures at Maintenance Hangar 7 and Maintenance Hangar 9, as indicated in drawings and specifications in order to help meet current SANGB energy conservation policies and reduce energy consumption. The Contractor shall remove existing lighting fixtures and replace with new, approved high bay fixtures utilizing existing light locations and providing controls and fixtures as specified on the provided drawings and specifications. The contractor shall use and upgrade electrical infrastructure as required to meet the current National Electrical Code (NEC). The contractor shall replace or remove identified lighting fixtures on all existing locations indicated in project documents. Contractor will be required to conduct a survey of each installation and provide a basic photometric model to validate requested wattage and Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) distribution patterns/foot candle requirements based on current Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards within facilities. The Government will provide existing drawings, and lighting layout plans. No additional locations or movement of lighting locations will be authorized. Requested IES distribution pattern be based on current, new light fixture location as shown on project documents. Contract is not asking for total re-design but best fit to current lighting layout.
