This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY for the Alabama National Guard; not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to determine appropriate acquisition methods and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested in providing the supplies or services described below. Documentation of expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to perform successfully under any resulting contract. Such information must include any documentation that includes proof of capability to distribute the equipment required. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) socio-economic status (e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business), and (h) capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to deliver the requirement as described below. The small business size standard under North American Industry classification System code 532490 is $32.5. In the event there is insufficient small business interest to support adequate competition, the requirement will be advertised as unrestricted. Requirement: 2 EA, Hydraulic Excavators (HYEX Rental) John Deere 250g LC with Hydraulic Thumb. Period of Performance: 1 MAY – 7 November 2019. Location: It will be delivered to Pelham Range, the truck will be met upon arrival.
