COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and pursuant to the simplified acquisition procedures of Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government’s intent is to establish a Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Period of performance: The contractor will have no more than thirty (30) calendar days from award of Contract to schedule the appointment through the Point of Contact (POC) at the survey site. The contractor will have no more than ninety (90) calendar days from award of Contract to complete all survey requirements, to send survey samples to appropriate laboratory and to submit the report to the RIHS office. This Sources Sought is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Alabama Army National Guard and is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. The Alabama National Guard is requesting information pursuant of contractor's who can perform Industrial Hygiene services for facilities in South Alabama. This is a non-personal services requirement that will anticipate, recognize, and evaluate potential hazards associated with processes performed at Alabama National Guard facilities. Place of Performance: 12 Southern AL ARNG Maintenance Facilities AASF #1, AASF #3, CSMS #1, FMS #22, FMS #21, FMS #18, FMS #25, FMS #24, FMS #27, FMS #28, FMS #28 and UTES #2 Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be one (1) base year of 12 months and four (4) one year option periods. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541690 – Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, which has a corresponding Size Standards of 16.5 million of dollars.
