AMENDMENT 0002: The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the cancellation of Solicitation W912JA20R0005. The USPFO for Alabama has accepted an offer from the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services to enter direct negotiations in lieu of a competitive solicitation for the requirement for Full Food Services at the Ft. McClellan dining facility in Anniston, Alabama. This decision is made under the authority provided by the Randolph-Sheppard Act (ACT) in accordance with 20 USC 107-107e. The USPFO for Alabama (located at Fort McClellan) is issuing a Request for proposals (RFP) under FAR Part 15 procedures, to award a single award IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) for food service to be provided for Soldiers performing training and duties at Fort McClellan Training Site Anniston, AL. The contract duration will include one base year with four one year option periods (1yr base + 4yr opt). The solicitation, and subsequent award, contains the FAR clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. This clause provides authority for the Government to extend the contract up to 6 months in addition to the base and option periods so that the total potential duration of the resulting award will be no more than five years and six months. The proposed contract is 100% competitive set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 722310 with a size standard of $41.5M. The Solicitation SF 1449, Wage Determination, Performance Work Statement, Past Performance Questionnaire and Price Model are attached.
