Request for Information for On-Site Fabrication and Assembly of a Three-Bay High-Performance Magazine (HPM) Structure

Notice ID:W912HZ27X1CTB

USACE ERDC is conducting an RFI/market research only—not a solicitation—to identify US-based contractors capable of on-site fabrication and final assembly of a three-bay, monolithic reinforced concrete High-Performance Magazine test structure at Fort Polk, LA. The structure will be built in place for experimental testing and later completely destroyed, with the site retrograded; it is not precast or modular. Required work includes mobilizing materials/equipment, erecting temporary formwork, installing prefabricated reinforcing steel cages, placing/curing 10,000 PSI self-consolidating concrete, installing structural sand fill in wall cavities, forming three reinforced concrete doors, and installing embeds/sleeves/plates per a draft DOR subject to change. Interested contractors should provide company/contact/SAM/NAICS/business-size information, a capabilities statement, socio-economic status under NAICS 238120, and answers covering similar project experience, SCC experience, engineered formwork, continuous rebar installation, self-perform vs. subcontracting, and overall ability to execute the full scope. The RFI seeks industry interest and tradeoff information before any possible RFQ, and responses will not be returned or reimbursed.
