This market survey/sources sought is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements described in this announcement. Prospective contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in the future solicitation or contract award as this survey is for planning purposes only and may not result in a solicitation or contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 – Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Engineer and Research Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Processes Branch (EPP) is planning to acquire a maintenance services acquisition in support of the Environmental Microbiology Team (EMT) study how microbes can be used in remediation of contaminated sites. The main goal of the EMT is to determine the optimal microbes and/or enzymes from microbes are in remediation of contaminated sites. The overall objective of this procurement is to allow the continued instrument operation for GE Amersham Typhoon Fluorescent Image Analyzer. This requirement will not include personal services or inherently governmental functions. Request: Capability Statement “Only” that will outline the capabilities to fulfill the attached PWS requirements. Attachments: Attachment 1 A02.11 PWS Typhoon - Draft Only REQUIREMENTS: If this requirement is issued, the government intends to issue an estimated period of performance of a 12-month base period with four-12 month option periods.
