This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The U.S.Army Engineering Research and Development (ERDC), Reseach and Development (R&D) Network, Information Technology Lab (ITL), requires commerical sources for the procurement of 125,000 gallons of #2 off-road disel fuel -- low sulfur, dyed. ERDC intends to establish Master Blanket Agreements (BPA's) in order to facilitate the procurement of fuel. The fuel will be distributed among all five (5) Kohler diesel generators and the 2.25 MW Caterpillar diesel generator. The fuel must be delivered via a pumper truck and will not be accepted if delivered in a larger tanker. Delivery for fuel shall be FOB Destination. Anticipated delivery location is ERDC Vicksburg, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
