The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) intends to purchase one robotic arm system that will be integrated into an existing Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) to be used for sensor deployment in a remote inspection. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912HZ-20-Q-1603 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 333999, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. Only one award will be made under FAR Part 12 procedures. The awarded contract will be of a Firm Fixed Price Single Award type. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Quote must include all specifications, and costs including delivery. The Government intends to award without discussions, however, reserves the right to hold discussions, if necessary. Therefore, offerors should provide their best possible proposal from a technical and pricing standpoint.
