This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W912HZ20Q8223 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The Engineer Research and Development Center, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory, has a requirement for SOLIDWORKS software licenses to support the research efforts of the Survivability Engineering Branch. Potential vendors may access the following attachments below: Attachment 01 (Description of Requirements) Attachment 02 (Offer Submission Form) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 511210, Software Publishers, with a small business size standard of $41.5million. In accordance with the attached Description of Requirement (Attachment 01), an award for this acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose proposal is the best value to the government. The vendor must submit the following so the Government can evaluate the Offeror's technical acceptability: The written proposal will be the primary basis on which the Government will determine the capability of the Offeror to perform this work. It shall be specific, complete, thorough, clear and concise, and must address each requirement stated in the Description of Requirement.
