The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) to Green Eyes LLC, 24973 Back Creek Drive, Saint Michaels, MD, 21663-2726 for the purchase of the 2 complete U-Gust Erosion Microsystem Instruments (UGEMS) and additional parts for both the lab and field for research and development. The goal of this effort will advance both military and civil works missions. These purchases for the push the Environmental Laboratory to develop new lines of research and enhance innovations. Green Eyes LLC is the sole-supplier of this type of equipment. There are no resellers of their equipment. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar supply. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
